Training

I studied Medicine in Maastricht. I did my preliminary plastic surgery training at Maxima Medical Center in Eindhoven, after which I continued my plastic surgery training at Maastricht-UMC. During and after my plastic surgery training, I gained additional work experience in Beverwijk, Chelmsford (England), Leuven (Belgium) and Sydney (Australia).

I have been working as a plastic surgeon at MUMC and Zuyderland Medical Center in Sittard-Geleen since 2009.

Facts

I am a member of the Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery, the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Dutch Society for Hand Surgery. As a board member, I am active in the Dutch Society for Hand Surgery (vice president) and the international Robotic Assisted Microsurgical & Endoscopic Society.

I speak Dutch, English and German.
