Types of eyelid surgery

Upper eyelid surgery

We perform eyelid surgeries under local anesthesia in a treatment room at our clinic in Maastricht. For eyelid surgery requiring general anesthesia, we choose to do these in an operating room which provides for the safest setting.

After the consultation with the plastic surgeon, you’lll know exactly what your eyelid surgery will cost.
Please note that it’s not possible to claim expenses for treatments from health insurance. MOOI only performs procedures for uninsured care.
If you do want to be eligible for reimbursement, you must meet health insurance criteria. If you meet this requirement, we’d be happy to refer you to one of our hospitals. For this you need a referral from the family doctor. We recommend consulting the terms and conditions of your health insurance policy.
