A pick-me-up for your skin!
The Easy Droxy Versicolor peel is a blend of fruit acids that work together to deliver multiple benefits. Compared to other peels, this peel is more gentle but still very effective. The acids cleanse the skin, reduce sebum production, fade pigmentation, provide antibacterial properties, and stimulate blood flow. Experience a refreshing skin revamp as this exfoliation treatment encourages skin renewal. Enjoy the added perk of avoiding any post-treatment peeling. To determine if this peel is suitable for your skin and aligns with your desired goals, we invite you to schedule a consultation with our cosmetic doctor at our private clinic in Maastricht.
Light peeling with AHA and BHA
An Easy Droxy Versicolor peel falls into our category of light peels. But don’t let that deceive you, this is still a much more intense peel with glycolic acid, than you can receive from a beautician. Due to the unique combination of different acids (AHA and BHA), a so-called cell-by-cell exfoliation occurs so you barely notice the need for any downtime. As a result, you experience no major shedding, only a “rolling up” of the epidermis during your facial cleansing. The Easy Droxy peel is suitable for all skin types and people of any age. At MOOI Clinic, this treatment is performed only by a cosmetic doctor.
What is AHA and BHA?
AHA and BHA are both cosmetic acids for your skin. AHAs and BHAs are exfoliating acids that you apply to your skin after cleansing and leave on so they can work. These acids are more effective than scrubs because they draw deeper into the skin, where a scrub only removes superficial dead skin cells. Well-known AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) acids are lactic acid and glycolic acid. Each acid offers unique benefits. For example, glycolic acid works well to combat wrinkles and lactic acid improves moisture balance. These acids cause the dead skin cells to shed easily and thus allow new cells to emerge.
BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids) penetrate deep into the pores. It can loosen and dissolve dead skin cells and sebum. The most common BHA is salicylic acid. Salicylic acid soothes and improves sebum regulation.
Who is this peel suitable for?
Suitable for all skin types, this peel is ideal for combating the first signs of skin aging. This usually becomes apparent around age 30. The Easy Droxy helps reduce:
- fine lines
- fall/gray skin (smoker’s skin)
- acne (sensitive) skin
- dry skin
- incipient skin aging
- sun damage
This peel is suitable for use on your face, neck or décolleté. The Easy Droxy peel really improves your skin, but does not fill volume loss or deep wrinkles. In that case, you may want to combine this peel with a filler or injectable. Another option is to opt for a deeper chemical peel. Our doctor will advise you on this during the consultation.
This peel is our lightest peel (category 1 as shown in the picture). The beauty of the Easy droxy peel is that your just-peeled skin is not only instantly presentable, but also has a beautiful glow.
